C5 Alliance, the Channel Islands business solutions specialists, has taken a shareholding in Guernsey based company, Island Analysis.
This agreement is part of a longer term plan to build a closer working relationship between the two companies and Rob Leader of C5 Alliance will join the Board of Island Analysis to help steer the new relationship.
Rob Leader, who has many years’ experience of working with C5 Alliance’s Guernsey customer base, says: "This is a significant step towards achieving our longer term objectives and commitment to Guernsey. We have been established in the Island for ten years, have a strong local team of people and have just posted another record year for our business. We have worked with Island Analysis on a number of key projects and this investment will enable us to capitalise on the synergies between our organisations while diversifying our business base and developing new products and services."
Chris Brock, Chief Executive of Island Analysis, says: "We are delighted to establish a more formal relationship with C5 Alliance and to welcome Rob Leader onto the Board. His support and business development skills will help strengthen our team and enable us to build new income streams locally and internationally. We have achieved a great deal since Island Analysis was founded in 2007 and we now hold data and information on 85 Islands worldwide.
C5 Alliance will start work immediately on developing the business and IT systems used by Island Analysis to ensure the company benefits from the very latest in technological resources. This is essential in the management of such a large and growing database of information.
It’s been an exciting week for the new team as Island Analysis scooped top honours in The Small Business category in this year’s Guernsey Awards for Achievement, which was announced on Thursday evening.
Earlier this week C5 Alliance announced the appointment of two new Board Directors. Dan Hare and Dave Edge join the senior management team to help lead the company’s growth strategy.
