Best described as an IT generalist, Oliver Smart, joined the C5 team in June 2011, primarily to fulfill a Remedy Help Desk role within one our client’s IT departments. During this ongoing contract he’s also provided server and desktop support plus the virtualization of multiple legacy DOS applications.
Going forward Oliver is going to be focusing on Virtulisation and MS Office 365 Cloud Technology as well as continuing with his Web design work including the use of Flash, PhP and HTML.
Background
Previously, Oliver independently supported a number of locally based high end retail clients, for most of them he was their sole IT support provider. He installed and supported multiple EPOS (Electronic Point of Sales) systems for the initial 3 month implementation period before handing back to the UK supplier for them to support remotely.
Oliver has experience in iSeries-AS/400 Systems Operations; Backup Exec installation and configuration; maintenance of all aspects of server/domain functionality; Citrix installation\configuration\support and VMware installation\configuration\support
